Why should I consider anti-wrinkle treatment?
Lines and wrinkles are a natural part of the ageing process. Since the late 1980’s, botox has revolutionised the treatment of ageing skin. It is extremely safe, quick and straight forward and it simply works by relaxing the facial muscles that are responsible for wrinkles.
The main areas for which botox is used are: the Frown Lines in between the eyes, the Forehead Lines and “Crows Feet” to the side of the eyes. These carefully selected non-surgical aesthetic treatments are minimally invasive and will therefore cause you little discomfort. They provide small but incremental improvements to the look and feel of your skin and your overall feeling of well-being over time.
What are the benefits of having anti-wrinkle treatments?
- Reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles already formed creating a more youthful appearance.
- Most people find that they can return to work immediately after this procedure.
- Botox injections only affect muscle nerves, not nerves of sensation, so you will not experience a loss of feeling in the treated area.
- Each treatment takes about 15-40 minutes and is generally not painful.
- Botox is not permanent.
What product do we use for anti-wrinkle treatments?
At Aleo Vera Dental Studio we use Azzalure for all our anti-wrinkle and Hyperhidrosis treatments. Azzalure contains a substance, botulinum toxin A, which causes muscles to relax. Azzalure acts at the junction between the nerves and muscle to prevent the release of a chemical messenger called acetylcholine from the nerve endings. This prevents muscles from contracting. The muscle relaxation is temporary and gradually wears off.
Some people are distressed when lines appear on their face. Azzalure can be used in adults under 65 years to temporarily improve the appearance of any moderate to severe glabellar lines (the vertical frown lines between the eyebrows) and lateral canthal lines (crow’s feet lines).
