Either a full or partial denture can be used to replace missing upper or lower teeth, which in turn will help improve your overall smile.
A denture is a removable appliance which is used to replace missing teeth .Either a full or partial denture can be used to replace missing upper or lower teeth. A full denture is held in the mouth using suction &/or a fixative glue. Partial dentures are attached to remaining teeth using small clasps. Dentures are made from acrylic (plastic) &/or chrome (metal). They look extremely natural & enable you to eat comfortably as well as being able to smile with confidence.
What to Expect
Dental impressions, shades & photos are taken over a number of appointments. These are then sent to our lab technician who makes the denture to fit precisely to the contours of your mouth.
Looking After Your Dentures
- Remove your denture before cleaning & while you sleep if you can.
- Clean the denture every day using a tooth brush & tooth paste before soaking in water or a cleaning solution to remove bacteria & stains.
- Always fill the sink with water while cleaning to prevent the denture from breaking if you drop it into the basin.
